Artists, This Is Your Call to Action!!!
Your voice. Your vision. Your community needs you now.
At HeakeSpeak, we build a living network of community resilience, where artists play a major role. In times of disruption, injustice and uncertainty, art connects us, it preserves the truth, it sparks our compassion and action.
We are seeking visual, literary, performing, digital , and craft artists who want to volunteer, collaborate, and co-create.
Why artists matter now more.
You translate lived experience into stories people can feel and understand.
You help communities make sense of and heal from harm.
You make invisible problems visible. You speak for people with disabilities and other marginalized groups.
You catalyze participation, turning awareness into action.
How you could get involved:
Storytelling & documentation helps communities share what is really happening on the ground.
Design & creative strategy shape accessible visuals, campaigns, and resources.
Community projects & public art can help build local connections and resilience.
Advocacy through art means standing with communities facing injustice and exclusion.
You don't have to be a "professional activist." You just have to care and be willing to show up with your creativity.
Community resilience is not built by systems; it's built by people, and artists help people see each other.
Join us. Volunteer. Create with intent. Your art can help protect, connect, and empower communities when they need it most.
