Our Community Resilience and Outreach initiatives are designed to ensure that all communities—especially those historically underserved—have the tools, knowledge, and support they need to prepare for, respond to, and recover from adversity.

We specialize in:

• Accessible Disaster Preparedness
  We design and deliver preparedness resources that are inclusive of people with disabilities, older adults, non-English speakers, and others often left out of traditional emergency planning. Our materials are WCAG-compliant, easy to understand, and culturally responsive.

• Community Engagement & Training
  HeakeSpeak collaborates with local organizations, emergency responders, and grassroots leaders to host inclusive workshops, build local capacity, and foster community-driven solutions. Our training programs prioritize accessible literacy and practical readiness for real-world challenges.

• Equity-Focused Resilience Planning
  We work with municipalities, agencies, and nonprofits to develop resilience strategies that center the voices of marginalized populations. Through outreach, needs assessments, and inclusive planning processes, we help create community plans that leave no one behind.
